Robert W. Griffin, Partner
Robert (Bob) Griffin has been self-employed for the past 29 years as a manufacturers representative, selling castings, forgings, metal stampings, screw machined parts and fabricated metal assemblies for domestic component suppliers to the aerospace, medical and power transmission industry. Bob is an honors graduate of Methodist College with a BA in Business Administration.
Bob has served as a Councilman for the city of Bermuda Run, NC, where he now resides, and is active in the local chapter of Rotary Club. He is also a member of ASNDT, the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing, and a past President of Whitaker Metals, Inc., an agency of manufacturers representatives in Hillsdale, NC. In the years immediately following college, Bob had worked in North Carolina banking and investment institutions as a financial advisor and commercial/residential loan officer.
Ronald H. Prachel, Partner
Ron Prachel has been a manufacturers representative for the past 28 years, selling metal specialties, fluid seals, molded rubber and high capability gears and gear train. He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a AAS in Industrial Chemistry. He later attended the University of Rochester, Wharton School of Business and Akron University for advanced studies in marketing, business administration and rubber technology.
From 1976-1980 he was employed by Parker Hannifin Corporation as MRO Marketing Manager for the Packing, Seal and Metallic Gasket Divisions in Salt Lake City, UT. In 19 previous years he worked for Garlock, Inc. and Coltec Industries as OEM District Manager, Product Manager, OEM Sales & Marketing Manager, and Group Marketing Manager for their Mechanical Products Division. He is listed in National Register's Who's Who of Executives and Professionals 1997-2000 Edition at the Library of Congress. He is a former Jaycee and past member of the SAE and Fluid Sealing Association.
Rujun Liu, Associate
Rujun Liu has been an engineering consultant and owner of AA Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd for the past 6 years and actively engaged in export management, as a source developer and auditor of Chinese foundries, machine shops and fabricators, including engineering, customer service and financial arrangements for imports of American manufacturers for over 10 years. He is an engineering graduate of the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing, China with degrees in mechanical engineering and castings/forging sciences.
His USA office in Houston, TX coordinates all purchases and services with a number of foundry and machining partners in the PRC, who are confidentially secured by contract and non-compete agreements. In addition to source identification and development, Mr. Liu provides our customers the assurances of ISO 9001 quality certifications, dimensional layout, material test reports meeting the criteria of AAR, ASTM (Mss SP55, 545, 53) and AISI. He also provides NDE testing including x-ray (E477, E446, B1634), hydra tests to 7,500 PSI, and others on request.
